Dwelling
In the line of the landscape
8 Semester, minor project. A proposal for a dwelling in the national park at Hanstholm for an ornithologist.
The end result for this project is a poster with the vision and the end proposal for the dwelling.
The dwelling is less than 30m2 and therefore the room organisation is one big room with sliding walls that can divide the room in to smaller rooms. The sleep quarters is nestled half in to a dune and therefore has only a small window. The living quarters have a big overview over a dune lake where birds migrate to.
The kitchen is placed by the entry. Sliding doors can be pushed over and divide these two rooms, so that light from the kitchen and bedroom do not disturb the birds at night time when the ornithologist observes the behaviour of the birds.
