Door handle
Design for Svane Apoteket in Aalborg
4 Semester, minor project. Design proposal for a handle at Svane Apoteket in the centre of Aalborg.
Exploded drawing of the door handle.
The handle is sculptured in wood and then put into a mould at the foundry and then cast in brass.
The mould has to be formed by a drawing, so that the form does not have any double curved surfaces.
After it is moulded the hard edges are roughly polished and then highly finished.
