About architecture and design student Dorothy Hild Jensen

Hi, My name is Dorothy Hild Jensen and I am a student at Architecture and Design at Aalborg university. I am a very creative soul that loves to draw and use my imagination as much as possible.

Architect or engineer?
In 2012 I will have an education as Master of science in Engineering (Architecture and Design) This title entails both engineering and Architecture and with good reason. At this education all students are taught about many corners of the engineering world. This way of working with the functions and the aesthetics simultaneously creates a integrated design process and a building proposal that entails both function and beauty. When working with a design proposal while working within a integrated design process the end result entails often that the dominant structural appearance is the aesthetic appearance also.
By working this way we create buildings that are structurally, functionally and aesthetically thought through so that there is created a proposal that, on document, fulfill the requirements of building regulation, users and the surrounding environment.
